I think I might faint!
I finished the Harborfest poster this afternoon and I thought I would share it with you. I have done the past four posters for Festival Fete, but did them digitally, which made them not fit so well in my portfolio. So, I decided to take this last opportunity to paint the poster, which I think fits much better with the rest of my work. It was so fun to do, as once I got the lines in there, it was like coloring in a coloring book (for a living...how sweet!)
Here is the finished post sans type, and a couple of details for you.
The Festival is a merriment of food, music, and art. Sounds like an awesome time! If you're on the East Coast, you should check it out!
(For all of my fellow animal lover friends, this is faux seafood, no animal was actually injured in the making of this poster.)
(For all of my animal lover friends again, here is another animal lover. Painting cats and not monsters on pumpkins)
In other news, I have a new painting making it's journey to Byrneboehm Gallery tomorrow. Im hoping to have a couple more to drop off along with it, but this is the only one I have recorded so far. You should stop down at the gallery to check it out in person (thus making you want to peek at every other awesome piece they have...so many talented artists!) Here is the finished painting and a detail!
I think that might be all I have for you tonight. I'm headed back over to my studio, lots of people working in there tonight, which should be awesome! I hope all of you are having a fabulous one of a kind night. Thanks for reading lovely friends.
