Alright people of this beaming universe! The show in Saugatuck, Old World, New World is offically up and will open this Friday! I have been terrible at keeping up with the blog as I have been busy painting every day.
Today the hard part was over! Now we can all look forward to the opening night, which, my friends, is going to be very spectacular. The menu has been announced and the food will be spectacular. Vegan and scrumptious. Not to mention alongside a free bar.
There will also be a photo wall! The little annex room off of the gallery will be set up as though it came from the world in which I paint. Terry Johnston, amazing photographer, will be there to shoot you, mask, pointy hat, and all. Should be so fun.
The work, of course, will be there too. haha. I have 30 pieces there, all from the last year, and most within the past five months. For this show, I experimented with working large. I'm still getting the hang of it, but it was definitely a learning experience.
It has been an amazing pleasure working with the SCA, and I am honored to have my work there. Hoping you all can make it out if you're in the area!
